INVENTORY OF CURRENT PROCESSES

The customer is represented at different locations in Germany and acts as long-term distribution partner for the furniture retail as well as transport partner for compensating short-term supply shortage.

Meyer+Meyer

The aim of the project was the record and documentation of the current processes starting with order acceptance, the order placement, the disposition and the order execution up to the billing.
As part of the inventory, the current processes were customized and assessed at five locations. During expert discussions with selected employees, processes of the order management, disposition, tour planning, delivery and billing were recorded.
Afterwards, the recorded status quo processes were customized and for the different subsidiaries, documented by using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Modell and Notation). The process presentations include all process flows (happy-flow and exception/sad-flow), decision as well as all required information and document flows. In addition to the graphic presentation, an accompanying document with key point notes was prepared.
